
Hugo Lapalus

Hugo trained with the Mont Blanc Committee from 2015 to 2017.
He distinguished himself early on with two bronze medals in the relay at the 2016 Junior World Championships in Rasnov and the 2017 Junior World Championships in the USA.
In 2021, he won the U23 World Championship title in the 15 km freestyle in Vuokatti, after finishing in the top 10 of the overall Tour de Ski standings that same season. He won a bronze medal in the relay at the 2021 Senior World Championships, followed by an Olympic bronze medal in the relay at the 2022 Beijing Games.
In the winter of 2024-2025, he took third place in the overall Tour de Ski standings and finished on the podium in the Distance World Cup (third), confirming his status among the world's best cross-country skiers.
