Thibaut made his mark in the junior ranks with a bronze medal at the 2018 World Junior Championships.
He became double French champion in 2024 and 2025. During the 2024-2025 season, he achieved his best international result with a top 6 finish in the World Cup in Georgia, before taking 12th place in his first World Championships.
