Clément Parisse is retiring
Clément Parisse, of CS Megève, has decided to retire from his cross-country skiing career. Since making his international debut, he has stood out for his performances and his key role in both relay and individual races.
He made his international debut in 2011 at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Liberec, finishing 6th in the 10 km classic race. Two years later, again in Liberec, he finished 12th in the 10 km skate at the Junior World Championships. His first major achievements came at the U23 World Championships: 2nd in the skiathlon in 2015 and 2nd in the 15 km skate in 2016. In the World Cup, he scored his first points in 2015 in Östersund and achieved his first Top 10 finish in 2018 in Seefeld with a 7th-place finish in the 15 km skate race.

- 5th place in the skiathlon at the 2019 World Championships in Seefeld
- 6th place in the 15 km freestyle event at the 2019 Tour de Ski in Dobbiaco
- 7th place in the 15 km freestyle event at Seefeld 2018
