FFS VOLUNTEER FEDERAL INSTRUCTORS

Trained and certified in one or more disciplines, they share their passion, support participants’ progress, and play a vital role in promoting responsible practices that respect the mountain environment. As true ambassadors of their region, they help visitors discover the local natural and cultural heritage while fostering the enjoyment, camaraderie, and sense of community that are hallmarks of community life.

COMI'CLASSE: LOCAL FORM

Professional title: Small and medium-sized facility manager

A professional qualification is a level 5 (Bac+2) certificate registered in the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles (National Register of Professional Certifications), accredited by the French Ministry of Employment. Highly valued by employers, it guarantees that the holder has mastered the skills, aptitudes and knowledge required to practice a profession.

The Ski Mont Blanc Committee has designed a flexible one-year training program, specifically adapted to athletes' constraints. The course enables athletes to acquire the necessary qualifications while reconciling training and competition. It is ideal for those wishing to enhance their professional career while pursuing their high-level project.

FEDERAL OFFICIALS & JUDGES

Their role is essential in ensuring that the rules are applied and that competitions run smoothly. Various training courses are available for referees:

  • Competition judge
  • Technical Delegate
  • Race director
  • Timekeeper
  • Federal tracer and Expert federal tracer

Prerequisites for federal officials and judges :

  • Must be at least 16 years old (adult for biathlon)
  • Possess a valid competitor's or manager's license that meets the requirements of a good-repute check.
  • Participate in initial and/or ongoing training
  • 2 missions per season
  • Training agenda
