Biathlon Training for the City of Annecy’s ETAPS
At the request of the City of Annecy, 15 local physical education and sports instructors (ETAPS) participated in a one-day training session on teaching biathlon, organized by the Mont-Blanc Ski Committee.
Led by Samuel Chazelas, the Committee’s biathlon coach, this event gave participants the opportunity to learn the basics of the sport, with a special focus on safety and the proper handling of laser rifles.
🎯 This training will now enable them to offer introductory biathlon sessions to elementary school students in the City of Annecy.
A wonderful initiative to introduce as many people as possible to biathlon, share the values of the sport, and—who knows?— maybe even inspire some new athletes! 🏆
The next biathlon champion might be among them! 😉
