Biathlon Committee Team
26–27
This year, thirteen athletes were recognized for their selection to national teams and their performances on the international circuit, including in the European Cup, the FESA Cup, the World Championships, and with the French national team.
The Mont-Blanc Ski Committee was represented by its President, Jean-Louis Debart; Jérôme Gellet of the PPF Commission; and Samuel Chazelas, biathlon coach. All three came to commend the achievements of these young athletes and to thank the entire educational community, including Principal Roussel. On this occasion, Jérome Gellet emphasized the importance of the work carried out by the teaching staff to enable students to balance academic success with high-level athletic pursuits.
This ceremony also serves as an opportunity to highlight the important role the high school has played in supporting young skiers in the region. Since its founding, the school has produced 16 athletes who have competed in the Olympic Games, including two medalists: Camille Bened, a gold medalist, and Romane Miradoli, a silver medalist.
A legacy of which the school and the Committee are proud!
The Mont-Blanc Ski Committee extends its congratulations to all of these young athletes for their dedication, their performances, and their selection to compete at the highest level.
