Comité Alpin team
26–27
It all began for Lubin Martin at the Habère-Poche ski jump. A member of the Villard-sur-Boëge Ski Club, Lubin has established himself this season as one of France’s top Nordic combined athletes.
The 2026 French Elite Champion, winner of the FESA Cup, and junior world silver medalist in Lillehammer—where he secured France’s first world medal in Nordic combined since 2021—Lubin has also been named to the French national team for next season.
But today, the stakes go beyond the realm of sports.
A long-standing event at the Winter Olympics, Nordic combined is facing questions about its inclusion in the program for the 2030 Winter Olympics in the French Alps.
Throughout his career, Lubin has come to represent a generation of passionate athletes who are committed to keeping their sport alive and helping it evolve. It is a demanding, spectacular, and unique sport that combines ski jumping and cross-country skiing, and has contributed to the diversity of Olympic winter sports for over a century.
