From beginner to top level with Ski-Club Pays Rochois

Founded in 1982, the Ski Club Nordique du Pays Rochois now has over 190 members who share a passion for cross-country skiing and biathlon.

The sports school introduces children aged 6 to 10 to skiing and a taste for effort. The two sessions per week enable progress to be made in a fun, progressive environment.

The competition group accompanies skiers throughout the year in their quest for performance. From the first bibs in regional races (from age 11) to the French Teams for our powerhouses, via the Comité Mont-Blanc, Rochois competitors are present at all levels.

The adult leisure section, meanwhile, offers a friendly atmosphere in which to get out on the slopes and make progress, with appropriate supervision. Skating sessions are held every Saturday in winter, as well as several Nordic walking outings throughout the year.

Biathlon is present in every section, with sessions adapted to progress. The ski club has its own shooting range in the heart of the Pays Rochois, so you can practice the discipline all year round.

Winter sessions take place mainly on the Plateau des Glières, a site steeped in history and renowned for the quality of its slopes.
