Melissa Gal

Melissa joined the Committee in 2014 and remained a member until 2018. She made her mark on the international stage early on, winning a bronze medal in the mixed relay at the 2017 EYOF in Erzurum, along with two top-five finishes (4th in the sprint and 5th in the 7.5 km skate).
At junior level, she contributed to the team's fifth-place finish in the relay at the 2018 World Championships, then placed 21st in the 15 km classic at the 2019 Junior World Championships.
At the 2021 U23 World Championships, she finished 12th in the 10 km freestyle and 4th in the mixed relay.
She competed in the 2022 Beijing Olympics, finishing 10th in the team sprint and 12th in the women's relay.
More recently, she completed the Tour de Ski, finishing 13th in the classic sprint in Val di Fiemme and 36th overall.
